Jacy Jayne Retains Women’s Title Against Zaria & Sol Ruca On WWE NXT

Jacy Jayne remains your NXT Women’s Champion, retaining the title over Sol Ruca and Zaria on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Wednesday night’s show opened with Jayne’s triple threat title defense, which was set up on last week’s show after the feuding former friends both laid claim to a title shot.

The match, which ran a little under 11 minutes, went into its final moments as Zaria was sent out of the ring by Ruca, who hit a Sol Snatcher on Jayne. Zaria was able to make the save though and F-5’d Ruca on the floor. She rolled Ruca into the ring but Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley attacked Zaria. While she took them out, Jayne covered Ruca for the pinfall victory. You can see highlights from the match below.

Jacy Jayne’s title reign, her second is now at 120 days. She won the title back from Tatum Paxley at NXT Gold Rush night one when The Culling turned on Paxley to cost her the match. She has a total of 270 days as champion between her two title reigns.
