The most recent edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Jade Cargill become the new WWE Women’s Champion. Jade defeated the injury-addled champion in impressive fashion to score her first singles title since entering WWE. Stratton had been champion for 302 days heading into Saturday’s event in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After ending Tiffy Time, Jade took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her top maternal figures in life.
Mama, I made it.
I hope I made you, grandma and great gram proud.
And I wish you all were here to witness that it was all worth it.
And yes, I still wrestle half naked. it’s wrestling gear mom.
Jade also had some words for her fans.
You didn’t believe in me — good.
Doubt looks great on you. Gold looks better on me.
Cargill will certainly be busy as WWE Women’s Champion. Nia Jax is still looking for her opportunity to be champion again, and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss regularly appear on SmackDown and are threats to any championship. Tiffany Stratton will also be wanting a rematch at some point, and Bianca Belair will be looking for gold when she returns.
Jade Cargill will likely appear on Friday Night SmackDown, which takes place in Albany, New York this week. 411 will have live coverage of the event.
