Jake Crist on his May return to Impact Wrestling: “It was just presented to me, and I’m a worker, I’m not going to turn down any type of opportunity like that. Being with Sami Callihan was the icing on the cake. I love Sami to death. That’s my best friend in the whole wide world. He’s amazing, a great individual, great talent, even better booker. The way he runs REVOLVER, he’s a genius, he’s our modern day genius.”

His thoughts on Sami Callihan: I love Sami to death. To come back at IMPACT and wrestle with Swann and Sami, it was a dream come true. I was pinching myself, I’ve never been so nervous in my life to try to perform at a high level and I didn’t want to make Sami, Swann, or Sawyer [Madman Fulton] feel, ‘Ah, this guy shouldn’t be here.’ I had a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, had a little something to prove, not only to myself but to the wrestling world. I came out swinging for the fences and I feel a hit a dinger.”
