JBL Comments on Possibly Working With MJF, Says He’s A Big Fan

In an interview with SportsKeeda (via Fightful), JBL spoke about the possibility of working with AEW’s MJF, noting that he’s a big fan of the former World champion’s work. JBL has previously made appearances at a variety of independent promotions like TNA, GCW and MLW.

He said: “I’m a big fan of MJF. I’ve told this story a few times. I met him in England one time and got to ride in the airport with him and spent part of the day with him for a signing. Big fan of his. He’s a really smart guy, a sharp guy. He’s a great talent. One thing I love about guys, is look at the kind of shape they get in. Look at Randy Orton right now. He’s changed his character by getting into incredible shape. MJF is in incredible shape. That tells me he has a real passion and love for the business. I have no idea about working with him. He’s in AEW and it sounds like he’s about to be a movie star now.“
