Jey Uso Fires Back Over Criticism Of Roman Reigns’ WWE Royal Rumble Win

Jey Uso is standing up for his family following a divisive reaction to Roman Reigns’ win in the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble. As noted, Reigns was victorious in the men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday to earn himself a main event match at WrestleMania 42. Reigns’ win was met with criticism from fans as was his spot with Uso, who received the show’s focus at the same time as Brock Lesnar was eliminated.

Uso posted to his Instagram stories on Monday morning, writing:

Reigns’ victory was his second Royal Rumble win. It isn’t yet known who he will challenge, though both he and women’s Rumble winner Liv Morgan are set to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. It is not clear whether either of them will reveal who they plan to face at WrestleMania.

Uso entered at #25 in the men’s Rumble match and lasted just over 13 minutes before he was eliminated by Reigns. Other members of the Anoa’i family in the Rumble matches included Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu for the men’s Rumble match, plus Nia Jax in the women’s Rumble match.
