NXT universe! It’s Tuesday, which means it is time for a new edition of the Tuesday Night Delight! NXT takes place from the Mother Base in Orlando, Florida, and we have a lot to look forward to tonight!
You may as well call this episode “Title Tuesday”. seeing as to how we have FOUR titles on the line tonight! We’ll start with the NXT Women’s Title, as Jacy Jayne will look to retain her title against Sol Ruca. I’m sure that Zaria deciding to make up with Ruca last week will totally NOT factor into tonight’s match!
The Tag Team Titles will be on the line, as DarkState will defend them against the team of Swipe Right, who won last week in a 4-team number one contender’s match. Speaking of contenders for titles, due to Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight not having an adamant conclusion in their Men Speed tourney finals a few weeks ago, interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone has put both Knight and LeFleur in a 3-way match with Jasper Troy with a 7-minute time limit.
After weeks and months of back-and-forth tension, Myles Borne will challenge Ethan Page for his Men’s North American Title. And speaking of North American Champions on the Women’s Sid, former champions Thea Hail and Blake Monroe will face each other in a number one contender’s match for Fallon Henley’s Speed Title. All of this and, of course, so much more in store for us tonight!
So, how is everyone doing tonight? Congratulations are in order for the US Men’s hockey team, matching their women counterparts in winning Gold Medal over Canada no less. Also, the nation as a whole came away with 32 total medals from Milan Cortina, second only (albeit a distant second place) to Norway, who scored 41 total medals. Makes sense, that country IS accustomed to winter related activity pretty much all year!
So, enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to chant N-X-T!

THEN!
NOW!
FOREVER!
TOGETHER!
Tonight, NXT is LIVE from the Mother Base in Orlando, Florida! As always, Vic Joseph and Booker T will have the call!
Robert Stone is here! He hypes up the crowd before hyping up the card for tonight. We’re kicking it off with the tag team title match!
NXT Tag Team Title match” DarkState (C) vs. Swipe Right
Osiris Griffin and Brett Baylor will start this off. Baylor runs into Griffin and goes splat lol. He fakes out Griffin and tags in Rickey Smokes. They BOTH try to run over Griffin but they both go splat lol. Baylor gets a head of steam, but the Griffin wall will not fall. He slams Baylor on top of Smokes and tags in Saquon Shugars.
Shugars slams Smokes and fires him into this team’s corner. Tag to Griffin, and we see a side slam/leg drop combination. That gets the champions a two. Smokes rolls out of the way and tags in Baylor. Swipe Right try and ambush Griffin, but it doesn’t work very well. Shugars is the legal man, and Griffin hits a big boot off of Saquon’s neck breaker. That’s a two.
Shugars sends Baylor to the floor and hits a drop toehold on Smokes. Shugars with a baseball slide dropkick to Baylor, but Smokes pulls Shugar down by his hair. We see Fatal Influence getting ready in the back as DarkState are treating Baylor like refuse. Both men throw Baylor out of the ring and onto Smokes on the floor as Jackson Drake checks on his guys. That’ll take is to the break.
During the break, DarkState remain in control with double team offense. Baylor regrets his life when he slaps Shugars, but it was a ruse, as both Baylor and Smokes go on offense. Shugars remains isolated, and the challengers get a two. Baylor counters Shugar’s arm drag with a clothesline for another two.
Shugars looks to fight out of the wrong part of town, but Baylor with a shoulder tackle stops that. Smokes in now, double team suplex, but the Sugar Man fights them off. Shugars tries to tag out, but Griffin gets dropkicked off the apron. Swipe Right with an Atomic Drop/Dropkick set up for a two.
Smokes with a front face look to Shugars. The Sugar Man escapes, but Baylor gets the tag and he keeps Saquon away from Osiris. FINALLY, Griffin gets the tag, and he proceeds to smack Swipe Right one. Chokeslam to Smokes, Griffin throws Baylor on top of his partner. The cover, but Baylor stumbles into a pin breakup.
Swipe Right get a tag and Baylor with a bridge on Griffin for a two. Griffin runs Baylor into his team corner and Shugars is in. Missile dropkick from the Sugar Man! The cover, but Drake gets Baylor’s hand on the rope. That doesn’t work for Cutler and Dion, who go after Jackson. Officials are here to break them up, and in the confusion, Tony D’Angelo is here! He chokeslams Shugars on the apron and then throws Baylor into the ring for the cover and we have new champions!
WINNER: Swipe Right (NEW CHAMPIONS!)
TIME: 11:50
THOUGHTS: I was a little skeptical about how this heel-heel match would work out. Truth be told, the fans liked DarkState more than they did Swipe Right, but in the end, Tony continued to do what he set out to do, and Swipe Right reaped the rewards.
RATING: ***1/4
Sarah Schreiber has Myles Borne in the back. She wants to know his mindset going into his NXT North American Title match tonight. Myles says he got a tryout during Covid lockdown, and here he is. He wasn’t supposed to be here at all. And he wasn’t supposed to walk onto a D-1 Football field either, but he balled out. He has been steered down a path by Ethan Page away from his title, but not tonight, because he is going to prove that he is championship material.
Keanu Carver is here to murder a fool next!
COMMERCIALS!
Keanu Carver vs. Sean Legacy
Legacy opens the match with a dropkick and then plays keep away. He kicks Carver off the apron and hits a baseball slide, but he offers up his face to the forearm of Carver. What a swell guy.
Back in the ring, and Carver goozles Legacy and clotheslines him out of the ring. Carver heads to the outside and slams Legacy on the apron before getting back into the ring. Carver lays in kicks while he taunts Legacy. Sean kicks Carver in the face, so he gets punched in the face.
Carver picks up Legacy over his head and drops him with a back breaker. Carver picks Legacy up again and proceeds to throw him across the ring. Small KEANU chants as Legacy keeps trying to fight back. Carver sits him on the top rope and then shoves him off the top as Sean falls to the floor. Carver lines up Legacy to put him through the wall again, but Legacy with a SUPERKICK!
Legacy shoves Carver into the ring post and returns him to the ring. Legacy to the top, 450 Splash! The cover for a two. Legacy off the ropes with a leg drop for a two. he tries Sliced Bread #2, but Carver throws him off. POUNCE, PERIOD is followed by the powerslam and that’s game.
WINNER: Keanu Carver
TIME: 4:15
THOUGHTS: It may have went over four minutes, but make no mistake, this was nothing but a squash thang.
RATING: **1/2
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are in the women’s locker room discussing the drama around the women’s division. Grey says she wants back in the women’s title picture, but Wren can bring gold to WrenQCC with the Women’s Speed Title. Kelani Jordan is here and she tells them to check out how she submitted Lola Vice. There is nearly a clash but speaking of Vice, she is here and she wants Jordan! Officials of course have to break it up. Boo.
Jasper Troy is here to defend the Men’s Speed Title next!
COMMERICALS!
WWE Men’s Speed Title Match: Jasper Troy (C) vs. Elio Lafleur vs. Eli Knight
Just a reminder that, since Stone put two challengers in there for Troy, that this match will have a 7-minute time limit.
The bell rings as both challengers try to go after Troy with no luck. Knight gets dropped on his face, and Troy catches LeFleur and press slams him out of the ring and on to Knight. Troy heads outside and returns both of his challengers to the ring. Troy tries to get back into the ring, but LeFleur and Knight fight to knock him off the apron.
Troy catches both guys out of the sky on dives but they counter him and slam him into the ring steps. Elio and Eli return to the ring, and Knight hits a dropkick. Body slam in the corner followed by the standing moonsault gets Knight a two. LeFleur counters with an up kick and he hits a spinning suplex from the top for a two. Knight hits the floor, and Elio hits a moonsault to wipe out Knight.
Troy is back, though, and he attacks Elio from behind. He slams Elio on the apron and then slams Knight on top of him. Back in the ring, and Troy stalks LeFleur across the ring. Knight from behind, but Troy with anti-air. BIG chokeslam by Troy to LeFleur, but Elio kicks out at two.
Three minutes left, as both Knight and LeFleur hit dropkicks to send Troy to the floor. LeFleur looks to fly and take out Troy, but Knight from outta nowhere with a dropkick! Troy is back, but Knight with a sunset flip powerbomb from the corner! LeFleur sends Knight out of the ring, and he hits Troy with a 450 splash for a two.
Under two minutes left now, as Elio hits a SUPERKICK to Knight. Eli gets sat on the top rope, but here comes Troy. Razor’s Edge, but Elio escapes and hits a thrust kick. Crucifix Bomb by Elio, but Knight comes in with a moonsault, but Elio sneaks in and steals the pin and wins the title!
WINNER: Elio LeFleur (NEW CHAMPION!)
TIME: 5:50
THOUGHTS: Well, if this title and this match style suits anyone, it would be The White Eagle. And I guess this is kind of a makeup after having him lose his very first match in NXT, albeit that loss was to Ethan Page, but this is a title that he can do something with.
RATING: ***1/4
An NXT perspective on the World Champion Joe Hendry is up next!
COMMERCIALS!
Ethan Page and Ricky Saints are in the back. They discuss how awesome they are, and Page says that they would have to amputate his foot before he lets Myle Bourne keep him down. The Vanity Project are here, and Page says the titles look good on them. They say that they listened to Ethan, and look what happened, they all have gold! Saints says that he will regain the NXT World Title from Joe Hendry, and they will make sure that Page becomes the longest reigning NXT North American Champion in history!
NXT Chronicles highlights current NXT World Champion Joe Hendry. It’s crazy to see different Hendry used to look until he started wrestling in 2013. Hendry is a man of many talents, and he believed in himself and he is here now because of that belief. This will be continued, I’m assuming, next week.
Zaria and Sol Ruca are seen walking, as are Fatal Influence. Vic either got cut off early from what he was about to say, or he lost his words at all the women involved there. Either way, that match is probably next!
COMMERCIALS!
NXT Origins highlights Damien Priest, the Archer of Infamy.
DarkState are losing their damn minds in the back. Lola Vice cuts in and she wants to speak to Stone. She wants Kelani Jordan in an underground match, so Stone gives it to her on March 7th at Vengeance Day.
Surfs up, dudes!
NXT Women’s World Title Match: Jacy Jayne (C) W/Fatal Influence vs. Sol Ruca W/Zaria
Mike Rome with the in-ring introductions for this one.
OH MY GOSH, ZARIA ATTACKS SOL FROM BEHIND! WHO KNEW! She hits a SPEAR and an F-5 to Ruca! Zaria leaves the ring and taunts Ruca. The hot ref checks on Ruca and says she can go. The bell rings, and Jayne lays in the Rolling Encore, and that’s it!
WINNER: Jacy Jayne (Still Champion)
TIME: five whole seconds
THOUGHTS: If you didn’t see Zaria turning on Sol, then I don’t know what to tell you, cause even Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Ronnie Milsap saw that coming. I’m just surprised that she didn’t wait until later in the match to turn.
RATING: N/R
Post-match, Zaria pulls Sol out of the ring and hits an F-5 to Ruca onto the announce table. As Zaria is calling her a BITCH, we just cut out to commercial break.
COMMERCIALS!
Tatum Paxley is here post-break. Her entire life, she has twisted herself into knots just trying to find love. She craved acceptance and tried to be who what others wanteds her to be. She tried to be perfect, and it didn’t work. But she did this for the fans. You listneed. YOu didn’t want a watered-down version of me, you wanted me. And for the first time in my life, I feel loved. You accepted every weird part of me. That’s why when I get my hands around the neck of Izzi and win that title, it will be ours! Tatum just wants one last conversation!
Izzi Dame is here, and she says that Tatum will never be enough, and she will realize that her dreams are not enough.
Yet ANOTHER weird cut, but hey, it’s Blake Monroe, so I’ll allow it!
Women’s Speed Title Tourney Match: Blake Monroe vs. Thea Hail
These two waste no time and go at it right away. Both ladies get early pin attempts, but Hail hits the “World’s Smallest Slam” according to Vic. Thea with a kick to the head for a two.
Monroe ends up on the floor and here is Jaida Parker! She hits a Hipnoptic on Monroe while the ref is distracted with Thea! Parker returns Monroe to the ring and Hail into the cover and she wins it!
WINNER: Thea Hail
TIME: 1:07
THOUGHTS: Made total sense to have Parker come in and cost Monroe the match, since they are in a bitter battle right now.
RATING: **1/2
Never mind next week, because we get the next part of the NXT Chronicles focusing on Joe Hendry. This part picks up with his arrival in TNA and his music background allowing him to do his parodies. This culminates in the here and the now with Hendry being the NXT World Champion. Give this kid from Scotland a chance, because you just never know where the next WWE superstar will come from.
Shill for the CM Punk WWE2K26 pack.
COMMERCIALS…AGAIN!
Another awkward transition into a match!
Kale Dixon vs. Uriah Connors
Dixon is fighting for Chase U, like that is still a thing. The Birthright is here for Connors, who eats a forearm from Dixon on the floor when he goes to fly. Back in the ring, Connors toys around with Dixon as we see Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights watching in the back. Dixon smacks Connors and hits a back suplex for a two.
Both men are on their feet and they trade blows. Connors with a backslide for a two. He slaps Dixon, but he jumps into an uppercut from Dixon. Two stunners from Connors though gets him a two. Dixon with a SUPERKICK that sends Connors to the floor. Dixon heads to the outside and returns Connors to the ring. He heads to the top and gets a two off a swivel splash. Uriah is able to turn the tables, and he scores with a running double knee to the head of Dixon for the win.
WINNER: Uriah Connors
TIME: 3:40
THOUGHTS: I didn’t really get into this one. I blame the lame cut in to the match from commercials. These guys tried, and it was fine.
RATING: **1/4
We get a replay of the Women’s World Title match earlier tonight.
Fatal Influence are walking in the back. Zaria approaches and says that Jay retained her title thanks to her. And now, she wants a shot at Jacy’s title, otherwise, she will do to Jacy what she did to Sol.
ANOTHER RANDOM CUT TO COMMERICALS!
The Gas Me Up Bros are in the back sans Ethan Page. They, of course, gas each other up, with Vanity Project kissing Ricky’s ass. They discuss the Hendry segment, and he might have his concert, but he is going to have an Absolute Experience! He is heading to the stage to practice. He leaves, and the boys discuss helping Ethan Page retain his title. Here are Shiloh Hill, Hank, and Tank! Hill has a steering wheel, which apparently, they stole from Jackson Drake’s car. hank and Tank apparently also smell because they farted really hard. A brawl breaks out, and officials are here to break it up.
Progressive Spotlight for Myles Borne. We see the Page-Borne dynamic, with Myles shunting the advice from All Ego. Myles blackmailed the champion into a title match by threatening to Pillmanize his ankle, and even when Ethan agreed, Myles still did the deed anyway.
It’s time for the MAIN EVENT coming up next!
COMMERCIALS!
Schreiber and Stone are in his office. He touts the title changes tonight and books Zaria and Jacy next week, as well as Hill, Hank, and Tank versus the Vanity Project. He also wants Izzi and Tatum to have a sit-down without physicality. Izzi pops in and says that this is Tatum that they are talking about.
NXT Men’s North American Title Match: Ethan Page (C) vs. Myles Borne
Mike Rome does the in-ring introductions for this match. Which, didn’t he introduce Page when he made his way down to the ring, or did I lose all that is left of my mind now that I’m 41?
SILVER MEDAL chants as the bell ring. Borne does show and tell with Page’s ankle, as Ethan charges him into the corner. Borne turns the tables and hits uppercuts to the champions. Vic mentions that Myle’s mother has beaten cancer and she is here to see him compete for the first time. Yeah, I think he’s winning.
Borne catches the foot of Page and he taunts him with this. He hits a Dragon Screw and goes after the bad ankle. Page tries to make it to the bottom rope for a break but Borne gives no quarter. He pins Ethan and gets a two. Page pokes Borne in the eye and is able to turn things around.
Well, for a second anyway, as Borne drops Page back to the mat and he cranks on the bad ankle. Page manages to kick Myles out of the ring, and he catches the challenger with a swinging neck breaker as he returns. Borne reverses Page’s slam and hits a slingshot suplex. Page ends up on the floor, but he trips up Borne as he comes out to the floor. Page lifts Borne up and hits the Ego’s Edge onto the announce table! That’ll take us to the final break.
Page continues the attack on the floor before sending Borne back into the ring. Page stomps on the ankle and leg of Borne even though he comes up favoring his own ankle. Page applies a headlock, Borne gets to his feet and tries to break free, but Page takes him right back down to the mat. Basement dropkick from the champion gets him another two as he goes back to the headlock.
After a good bit, Borne gets back to his feet and tries to free himself, but again Page doesn’t allow that to happen. Page picks up Borne but he lives to regret this as Borne tees off on him. Off the ropes and a clothesline from Borne. A second one. Fisherman Suplex by Borne for a two.
Borne lifts up Page, but Ethan escapes and grabs wrist control. Page runs into a boot from Borne, but he catches him off the top rope. Borne escapes and catches Page with a pin for a two. Page with a powerslam that gets him a two. Booker says that Page didn’t get here by Osmosis and I am glad, because that would have taken even longer than it already did.
Page with a kick to the gut of Borne and he takes a second Ego’s Edge, but Myles kicks out at 2.5! Page with some shots but Borne fires back. Page channels One Punch Man and drops Borne in the corner. Page sits Borne on the top rope and he heads up. Borne fights off Page, but Ethan with a straight shot. Page goes up again and this time he hits a Superplex! Page crawls into the cover for a two.
Both men get to their feet and hands are traded. Page goes to the throat in order to get the advantage, but he Ego (no pun intended) causes him to eat a dropkick. Borne Again from Myles, but The Vanity Project are here! Drake hits Borne in the head with his title belt! Page into the pin but Borne kicks out at two! Hill, Hank, and Tank are back, and they brawl to the back!
Ricky Saints is here, but so is Joe Hendry, as he drags Ricky off the top rope and they brawl on the floor. The turnbuckle was exposed in their fight, and Page tries to use it to his advantage, but Borne sends Page into it headfirst and hits another Borne Again and we have a new champion!
WINNER: Myles Borne (NEW CHAMPION!)
TIME: 13:45
THOUGHTS: Sometimes, you don’t want to believe the result of something could be so obvious with so much telegraphing, and yet, that is exactly what happened tonight. Whether it was the harping on the North American Title history or playing the Borne background card, you just knew that Myles was walking out champion. Not a bad match, but it got the job done and that’s all that you can ask for.
RATING: ***1/2
Post-match, Borne celebrates with the title as he heads to the outside and embraces his mom. And with that, we are done!
