Josh Alexander Set For CMLL Show On Friday

AEW star Josh Alexander will be defending his MLP Canadian Title at the latest CMLL show this Friday. CMLL announced on Friday that Alexander will put his Maple Leaf Pro Canadian Championship against Esfinge at the show, which is set to take place at Arena Mexico.

In addition, La Catalina will be back in action as she teams with Kira and Akari against Persephone, Dark Silueta, and Olympia in six-woman tag team action.

The main event will feature Daniel Garcia, Neon, Angel de Oro and Johnny Consejo in a four-way bout.

Alexander last defended the Canadian Championship against TJP at MLP Sacred Ground in September of 2025. He won the title in a 20-man Gauntlet Match at MLP Northern Rising and has held the title for 283 days. The card for the show is:

* La Catalina, Kira and Akari vs. Persephone, Dark Silueta, and Olympia.
