Karrion Kross says that whatever happens with WWE, he hasn’t wrestled his last match. Kross’ WWE contract has expired and while he said on The Ariel Helwani Show on Wednesday that he wants to stay with WWE, which he considers “home,” he still has plenty of ringtime left. You can see some highlights from that part of the discussion below:
On if there’s any chance he’s wrestled his last match: “No. [chuckles] No way.”
On how long he wants to go for: “Forever. FOREVER! Terry Funk… I mean, I feel very good. I feel very good. I’m very healthy. I’m good to go. I don’t know how long. I don’t see an end in sight, that’s for sure.”
On if he can use Killer Kross outside WWE: “Oh yeah… have a feeling he’s still around. He’s not going away.”
On how this situation has become part of his wrestling identity: “Yeah, I do [recognize that]… I’m excited.. There’s something readily available for the audience that we can give them. I’m still here waiting, man. All they got to do is show up to the other side, and let’s figure this out and let’s give it to them.”
On if he’s cool with leaning into it: “Oh, yeah. We should always be giving the people what they want, always. If you want to starve them for a little bit with a payoff on the back end? That’s okay. That’s not what is happening right now, it should be what’s happening. And I think it’s not too late to go there.”
