On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash talked about Bruce Prichard’s recent claim that he was booed out of the arena at WrestleMania 11 in 1995.
This was something Prichard stated in the recent documentary The Heartbreak Kid: Becoming Shawn Michaels during an interview. You can check out some highlights below:
On Prichard’s Comments:
“I don’t know what I ever did to Bruce Prichard. But during the Shawn Michaels interview, he says that after WrestleMania 11 in the building that night, that even though Shawn lost they cheered Shawn and they booed me out of the building. And number one, I was at the event. I was holding Jenny McCarthy’s hand in one of my hands, and Pam Anderson’s hand in the other, standing [and] looking hard camera. I just don’t recall being booed out of the building.”
On Prichard’s Credibility:
“My wife was at that event with my sister. And so I asked her after I saw the documentary. I said, ‘Is he just — like, does he just have a f**king hard on for me because of, I left. Because I don’t know what it — but it’s like it’s one of those deals where don’t know what his fucking problem is. But you kind of lose credibility when you just talk out the side of your ass. If you’re an office boy then, just that’s fine, I get it, but I have to say that I didn’t get booed out of the building.'”
On Comparing It to His Match With Goldberg at WCW Starrcade:
“It’s kind of like the pop I got when I came out to wrestle Goldberg in that match at Starrcade. [sarcastically] They were definitely booing. They definitely didn’t pop when he got beat.”
