Kevin Nash Says He Never Had a Problem With Ole Anderson
– During a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash commented on wrestling legend and founding Four Horsemen member Ole Anderson, who passed away last week. Nash noted he never had a problem with Anderson and “always got him.”
Nash said of Ole Anderson (via WrestlingInc.com), “He was a miserable p****, but he was a lovable — he was right up my alley … I’m a p***k, so I got him. I always got him. I always got Ole. I never had a problem with him.” He also recalled asking Anderson for his release from WCW in the early 1990s so he could join WWE. Nash added, “He never looked up, and he signed it.”
He also credited Anderson for not only breaking him into the wrestling business but for not questioning Nash’s request to sign with WWE, where he became a big star. In 1994, Nash as WWE’s Diesel beat Bob Backlund to become WWE Champion. Nash would later return to WCW with his real name in 1996 and formed the nWo with Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan.
