Kurt Angle Confirms That John Cena Will Have A Wrestlemania Match

Kurt Angle may have just spoiled a big surprise for WWE. Kurt Angle spoke with the Gorilla Position and let slip that John Cena is going to have a match at Wrestlemania, which is why he will not be Angle’s opponent at the event.

He said: “I was hoping it was going to be John. It didn’t happen. I’m sure that he has another match in mind. I wanted him to end my career, just like, when he started, I started his career. It was good storyline but, unfortunately, it’s not going to work out. I love John and I know that he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they announced it, but I’m almost positive he’s going to be there.”

This confirms reports from last week that Cena agreed to a match at the event but that it wouldn’t be against Angle, who is definitely wrestling Baron Corbin. Cena’s appearance has been kept secret, as he hasn’t even been mentioned on WWE TV. This will be the seventeenth match on the card.
