The Latest on John Cena’s WrestleMania Opponent & Rey Mysterio’s WWE Status

UPDATE: WrestleVotes, the John Cena vs. Undertaker feud will take place on SmackDown Live leading up to WrestleMania 34.

ORIGINAL: Despite reports that Rey Mysterio will face John Cena at WrestleMania, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that John Cena vs. Undertaker is still the plan for WrestleMania. Monday’s Raw promo where Cena said he wasn’t getting the match was to throw people off the scent for a few weeks. The only way that the match would change would be if Undertaker gets hurt in training or for some reason pulls out of the show. At this time, Rey Mysterio has no deal with WWE, but he does have a meeting scheduled with Paul Levesque to discuss a deal very soon. Mysterio is looking for a very different type of deal as he’s not willing to wrestle full-time at this point.
