Lizzy Rain, the former Rayne Leverkusen, will make her WWE NXT debut on next week’s episode, as announced at NXT Revenge week two. During Tuesday night’s show, a vignette played to tease the arrival of Rain on next week’s show.
Rain technically appeared at NXT Veangnace Day during the NXT Underground match between Lola Vica and Kelani Jordan, but was not referred to by name. She confirmed her new ring name last week.
Rain participated in the WWE Tryouts held during the SummerSlam weekend last August. She was touted as the MVP of the tryouts and was believed to have signed a contract with the promotion this past February.
Leverkusen signed with WWE in February after being part of two tryouts last year, including the WWE SummerSlam weekend tryouts where she was named the session’s MVP. She has been wrestling professionally for four years and during that time has worked PROGRESS, Hustle, Pro Wrestling EVE, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Sendai Girls, and more. She’s a former PROGRESS Women’s Champion, a former EVE Tag Team Champion, and a former two-time Hustle Champion.
