Los Americanos Earn Tag Team Title Match In Tournament Finals On WWE NXT

Los Americanos have booked their ticket for NXT Stand & Deliver, getting a win over Birthright for a Tag Team Championship shot on this week’s WWE NXT. Bravo and Rayo defeated Curt Connors and Stacks in the finals of the Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament on Tuesday’s show thanks to an assist from El Grande Americano.

The 10 and a half minute match saw Birthright get threatened by Shiloh Hill, who came out and went after Charley Dempsey and Lexis King at ringside with a chair. That allowed Rayo to give Stacks a running knee strike. Connors made the save for Stacks but not long after Americano handed Bravo the group’s mask load and he hit Connors with a diving headbutt to get the victory.

Los Americanos will go on to challenge Swipe Right of The Vanity Project for the NXT Tag Team Championships at Stand & Deliver, which takes place on Saturday from The Factory at the District in St. Louis, Missouri and air live on YouTube in the United States and Netflix internationally.
