Mark Briscoe Defeats Hechicero To Retain TNT Title On AEW Collision

Mark Briscoe is still the AEW TNT Champion. The veteran retained his gold against The Don Callis Family’s Hechicero on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision.

The finish of the match saw Briscoe nail Jay Driller to capture the pinfall victory. Hechichero earned the opportunity to contest for Mark Briscoe’s title by beating Komander last Saturday on Collision.

Despite a decent effort, he could not get the job done tonight.

This was Mark Briscoe’s second successful title defense since he captured the championship from Kyle Fletcher in a brutal No Disqualification Match at AEW Full Gear last November. His first defense was against The Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia at Collision: Winter Is Coming in Cardiff, Wales, last month. His reign currently stands at 50 days.

Following Briscoe’s victory, Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy came out to celebrate with him.
