Hardy appeared on the show and won the competition of a WWE-themed episode back in 2002. Below are some highlights of Hardy recalling his appearance (via WrestlingInc.com):
Hardy on how appearing on the show was a big deal: “It was a big deal and they wanted people who could really represent WWE as good as possible and it was really cool that Jeff and I were the first two people that they reached out to because they probably knew that we were the craziest two,”
On what he was most worried about for the show: “The one thing I was worried about was like having to put my head into a box of spiders or tarantulas, that was the main thing.”
Matt Hardy also appeared on the show with his brother Jeff Hardy, Lita, Jacqueline, Molly Holly, and the late Andrew Martin (aka Test). Hardy won the competition, donating his $50,000 prize to a charity of his choice, which was the American Cancer Society.
