Mick Foley Critiques Drew McIntyre Using 20 Chair Shots on Shanky During WWE Raw
– During last night’s episode of Raw, Drew McIntyre broke up the birthday party for his former stablemate, Jinder Mahal, attacking Mahal and his cohorts, Veer and Shanky, with a chair. McIntyre then slammed 20 chair shots to the back of Shanky, which WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley later critiqued on Twitter.
Foley commented on the segment, “Big fan of Drew’s…but 20 chair shots should either be done to build a feud of epic proportions…or they shouldn’t be done at all.”
McIntyre’s attack was payback for Mahal, Shanky, and Veer attacking him during the men’s Money in the Bank match at last Sunday’s event, effectively taking him out of the match. Following Raw, Drew McIntyre shared another angle of the chair shot attack on Shanky. He wrote in the caption, “If I did this to him, what do you think I’m going to do to you @JinderMahal? #WWERaw”
