Mideon Says Henry O. Godwinn Is One of the Most Underrated Workers of All Time
On the latest episode of Six Feet Under, The Undertaker had Dennis Knight, who worked for WWE for several years under Mideon and Phineas I. Godwinn, where he talked about teaming with Mark Canterbury, aka Henry O. Godwinn, as The Godwins and more. You can check out some highlights below:
Mideon on Ultimate Warrior changing his real name to Warrior: “I checked into a hotel room in San Francisco with Warrior next to me. He pulls out his credit card, and it says, ‘Mr. Warrior.’ I was like, ‘Are you f**king serious?’ But seriously, we all knew Jim.”
On Henry O. Godwinn: “We were doing these country weapon matches as the Godwins. And you know, we laid s**t in. In my opinion, Henry is one of the most underrated workers of all time. I was a great bumper. He was a great worker.”
On the Road Warriors, asking management for the Godwins to calm down in the ring: “We might be the only people that the Road Warriors went to the office and asked the office to ask us to calm it down a little bit. We were hitting them too hard, yeah. And then I heard that, and I was like, ‘Joe, what’s up?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, what’s your record?’ I go record. I said, ‘This shit isn’t a real buddy.’”
