Mike Chioda Expects Shane McMahon to Return to the Ring
– During this week’s edition of Monday Mailbag for AdFreeShows, former WWE referee Mike Chioda discussed the injured Shane McMahon. McMahon made a surprise return last month at WrestleMania 39: Night 2 and was about to face The Miz in an impromptu match, but he suffered a torn quad injury just seconds into the match.
Chioda commented on Shane McMahon (via WrestlingInc.com), “Shane O’Mac will be back in that ring, brother. He’s working out hard right now. He’s gonna be back. I wish him a speedy recovery.” The former official added on his reaction to seeing McMahon’s injury during the live broadcast, “I felt bad and I seen he couldn’t get back up. I said, ‘No, this is not a work.’ He wouldn’t come back and… I just wish him a speedy recovery and all of the best.”
McMahon shared a gym photo last month showing his recovery after getting surgery on his torn quad injury.
