MJF Would Like to Face CM Punk & Seth Rollins, Why He’d Feel ‘Weird’ Wrestling Roman Reigns

MJF says he would love to face WWE stars CM Punk (again) and Seth Rollins if he ever had the chance, but would feel weird about battling Roman Reigns. The AEW World Champion had a memorable feud with Punk back when the latter was in AEW, including a violent dog collar match that Punk came out on top in. He was asked in a recent interview with Compas On the Beat about which stars he would like to face from WWE in a hypothetical “forbidden door” situation and named Punk and Rollins.

MJF, who previously said that he was happy for Punk’s WWE return, noted that he would love to beat the current World Heavyweight Champion up and would like to face Rollins as someone he respects. He noted that he would feel weird hurting Roman Reigns due to Reigns’ connection to Paul Heyman, who he said is “kind of like [down low] related” to him. You can see the highlights below:

“I’d love to beat the s**t out of [CM Punk], just for shits and giggles. I would love to literally be put in a situation where I can bash his stupid f**king face in again. Because he had a fluke victory over me at the dog collar match because of that schmuck Wardlow. Again, the only time I lose, is when somebody cheats. I had CM Punk’s number. I beat him twice in Chicago.

“Outside of that, Seth Rollins is another guy I’d like to be able to wrestle because I respect him immensely. He’s an incredible talent.”

On a Match With Roman Reigns:

“Well look, there kind of a conflict of interest there. Because me and Paul Heyman were kind of like DL related. So I don’t know if I’d be able to go through with that. I’d feel I’d feel weird about hurting somebody that he’s made so much money off of.”
