More Details On AEW Plus on FITE: Not Available In Germany, May Not Have Commercials

As we previously reported, AEW announced the creation of AEW Plus, a subscription-based service for international markets that will allow them to watch AEW Dynamite for a low price of $4.99 per month. It was noted that this would not be available in the US or Canada.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Germany was also not listed among the countries, which would suggest that AEW may be working on a possible TV deal in that country as well. There had also reportedly been talks of a deal in Australia and one or two other countries that were “coming down to the wire.”
Meanwhile, FITE is currently working on whether or not the version of Dynamite that is available on AEW Plus will be commercial free or not. If so, that means that the version that airs on there will show what happens during the commercial breaks of the live show.
