More On Mike Santana Being Granted Release From AEW

As previously reported, Mike Santana left AEW after nearly five years with the company, as he was removed from the roster. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on the situation, noting that Santana hasn’t been happy in the company for a “long time.”
He had reportedly been wanting a singles push, but it wasn’t happening. After he beat Ortiz back on October 25, he wasn’t used on TV again.
