AEW star MVP is not a big fan of celebrities trying their hands at pro wrestling. However, the Hurt Syndicate member recently revealed that Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny managed to earn his respect following his successful transition to pro wrestling.
In a recent appearance on the Marking Out podcast, MVP detailed his conversation with Bad Bunny after he went to the rapper’s locker room during his time in WWE.
“I went afterward to Bad Bunny in his locker room, and I shook his hand, and I hugged him, and I told him straight up, ‘I’m usually not very fond of outside people coming in here, but you have earned my respect. Not that it matters, not that you care, but you have earned my respect,'” And Bad Bunny was cool as f**k. He said, ‘No, it does matter. Thank you, bro!'” MVP noted. [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
Bad Bunny made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37, tagging along with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison. He then participated in the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble Match before going to war with The Archer of Infamy in a San Juan Street Fight at Backlash 2023.
Only time will tell if Bad Bunny ever returns to the squared circle.
