Natalya Turns On Maxxine Dupri During Women’s Intercontinental Title Match On WWE Raw

Natalya has broken bad on her protege, as she turned on Maxxine Dupri to cost her the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship during this week’s WWE Raw. Monday night’s episode saw Dupri challenge Becky Lynch in a bid to reclaim the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Natalya was out to observe the match as Dupri took Lynch to the limit in her home country.

The end of the match saw Lynch escape an ankle lock but run into an exposed turnbuckle. Dupri kicked Lynch and went for the cover, but Natalya put Lynch’s foot on the rope. Dupri was shocked by the move and Lynch was able to take advantage, hitting the Manhandle Slam for the pinfall.

After the match, Natalya attacked Dupri and said she would never learn. Dupri fought back but was taken down and locked into the Sharpshooter. Natalya eventually released the hold and walked off. You can see highlights from the match and segment below.

Natalya has been closely allied with Dupri since shortly after the latter began competing on WWE TV. She has served as Dupri’s trainer both on screen and behind the scenes. She began adopting her Nattie Neidhart “Lowkey Legend” character in December as she took a harder path to training Dupri in vignettes.

Lynch’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship reign, her second now stands at 14 days. She defeated Dupri to regain the title on the January 5th episode of WWE Raw.
