Nephew of Don Muraco Drafted by San Francisco 49ers

WWE Hall of Famer Don Muraco has an interesting connection with a recent NFL draft pick. The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team’s draft selection of De’Zhaun Stribling is Don “The Rock” Muraco’s nephew. The caption of the announcement reads, “The bloodline is tough 💪”

The 76-year-old Don Muraco was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2004 by Mick Foley that year. Muraco became a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion during his in-ring career. He also won the 1985 King of the Ring tournament.

Stribling was selected by the 49ers during the second round of the 2026 NFL draft.
