New WWE Talent Reportedly Not Appearing at NXT TakeOver Due to Japan Committments

– The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone.com) reports that Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo have signed with WWE, but neither wrestler will be appearing on TV at NXT TakeOver: Chicago this weekend.

Shirai and Hojo are both currently booked for weekend shows in Japan, so it’s impossible for them to make appearances at the Chicago event. Also, Hojo will likely have to come up with a new finishing move, since the top rope diving elbow she uses is one of Bayley’s moves.
