During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, WWE Superstar Omos discussed his recent confrontation with Oba Femi in NXT and the chemistry they have together. Below are some highlights:

“You know, had to give the fans a little teaser, you know, how to show him who’s boss, you know, how to, you know, how to show him, you know, how to properly pay respect to his elders, you know, because, back home, I’m considered his elder. So, it was great to have that experience to show you what the big leagues are about, you know, on the main roster.”
On his chemistry with Oba Femi
“Man, you know, from the first locker room we had, I could tell like, you know, the chemistry was there and we have something amazing, you know, and that’s, you know, thing about being in this business is when you get with another individual, you you want to feel that chemistry that you guys can make magic. And I felt that in that moment. And like I said again, man, I just had to show him, you know, who the the big boss is and who the veteran is.
“You know, I’ve been in this game eight years. So, it’s still a lot of work to do. You know, you know, he’s he’s done a great job with NXT. Like I said, he’s extremely charismatic. He’s great on the mic, great body of work, great physicality, and guys like Oba is humbling for the face. You know, it gives me a lot of excitement when I meet guys who have such physical powers like he does. Almost every single time you’re in the ring, you’re in there with the biggest people on the roster.”
Omos and Oba Femi later faced off in a singles bout at the WWE NXT live event in Cleveland, Ohio on October 11. However, the match ended in a no contest.
