STARDOM Goddesses of Stardom Tag League Night 10
November 26th, 2025 | Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo, Japan | Attendance: 270
I’ve missed a lot of this tournament while on vacation so I’m gonna do my best to catch up. That means some write-ups might not be as long or detailed as when I have more time.
Red Goddesses Block: AquaStella [7] vs. BMI2000 [8]
The unfortunate blend of the fastest team in the tournament against the slowest. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a case where the slowest was going to find a way to work to the style of the quickest and instead dragged AquaStella down. This ended up just being more of the same from BMI2000. Generic brawling, bully tactics, and some hope spots for the babyface team. The finish saw Ruaka counter a series of Mei Seira rollups with one of her own, getting the three count at the 6:41 mark. Not much to this since that’s just what BMI2000 does. [**¼]
Blue Goddesses Block: 02line [2] vs. Reiwa Tokyo Towers [6]
Our second straight match of speed against size, except Ami Sohrei and Lady C aren’t sluggish in the ring. That said, this was oddly laid out. AZM and Miyu Amasaki attempted to trade shots with Reiwa Tokyo Towers right out of the gate. Logically, they should’ve tried to use that quickness advantage. Obviously, trying to slug it out with their larger opponents was a mistake that put them on their heels almost instantly. Ami and Miyu went at it late, with Ami just running through her with lariats and strikes. However, AZM broke up Like Thunder and Miyu rolled Ami up to win in 9:56. Solid little tag, though the layout was a bit odd in places. [**½]
Blue Goddesses Block: Anecon [6] vs. Sakurara [6]
I think Anecon is officially my favorite team in the tournament. This showed why as it has a little bit of everything. The highlights were Aya stepping up to go toe-to-toe with Syuri in strikes and more than holding her own, and Saki and Sayaka doing some entertaining personality stuff. It’s why Anecon matches are so enjoyable. Saki trying to do a Syuri style kick and hurting her own leg was a fantastic bit. Sayaka came close when she hit the Spear but Syuri broke up the pin. Saki managed to pull her into a pin to win in 10:21. Another super fun Anecon match and Sakurara have been a pleasant surprise so far. [***½]
Red Goddesses Block: Dos Locas de México [7] vs. T-Hearts [4]
DLM remains an interesting, yet flawed idea. It’s not like FWC was stale or anything like that and I think everything involving them as FWC would’ve worked better. Alas, this was one of their better outings. The crowd was pretty into this and that has often been the case with Sareee matches. I thought Teotleco did a really good job as a villain against Miku, who played a good underdog. Sareee was kicking ass when she was in there, laying in the shots against both opponents. Man, I really want a Hazuki/Sareee match at some point. The finish saw Sareee twist Osita into a pretzel for a submission after 9:27. Good stuff here. [***¼]
Blue Goddesses Block: Bloody Girls’ School [0] vs. Mega Skyscrapers [10]
You couldn’t have two teams on more opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of the standings. To be fair, Bloody Girls’ School had to forfeit several matches. I’ve been very impressed by HANAKO and Bayne, as they both use their size well. I liked this match for one simple reason: it was a good old fashioned HOSS FIGHT. It was just four women hitting each other hard and busting out power-based moves, playing to their strengths. I’d be down for Suzu against Megan one-on-one. Yamashita has grown on me too. She has done well in her limited tournament run. She had the impressive closing spot, hitting a Razor’s Edge on HANAKO to win in 13:14. I did not expect her to get HANAKO up for a move like that. I quite enjoyed that hard hitting match. [***¼]
Red Goddesses Block: Akira Kurogane and Bozilla [4] vs. SaoriPoi [8]
This is an interesting main event because it’s an established, top-tier team and then a duo that includes one dominant member and another who is basically a rookie. Bozilla and Saori came face to face before the bell for an intense staredown. Bozilla reluctantly let Akira start and she came out with fire, hitting a dropkick at the bell. That didn’t last though as SaoriPoi picked her apart. Things changed when Bozilla became legal as she brutalized Poi and had stiff exchanges with Saori. Akira tagged herself back in and fared well enough against her more experienced opponents. There was a cool spot where Bozilla saved Akira from getting German Suplexed by clotheslining Akira and Saori at the same time. She really doesn’t care about her partner’s well-being. Saori wore Bozilla down with a kneebar but she got back up and delivered a powerbomb to win in 14:32. Another strong match on a good show. Big win for Bozilla too. [***¼]
