Pat McAfee Says WWE Has Passed Him By, Will Continue To Watch
Pat McAfee has been keeping himself plenty busy & visible on television over the past several months, but one place we haven’t seen him is behind WWE’s announce desk. Pat was asked about WWE during an Instagram Q&A Sunday evening, and the response he gave was either an indication we won’t see him for a long while, or that he’ll be back very soon. Wrestling is fun like that!
"It feels like that business has kind of passed me by a little bit … I feel like the biz is in a good spot without me”
– Pat Mcafee on his potential WWE return
No more Pat for the foreseeable future it looks like.

“I don’t think you ever say never, especially with, WWE, right now it does not feel like something…Feels like that business has kind of passed me by a little bit. Grew up loving it, dreamed of working it, feel honored that I had the opportunity to work alongside the GOAT Michael Cole, but I feel like the biz is in a good spot without me. I’ll continue to watch.”
Pat McAfee last appeared on WWE programming at Wrestlepalooza in September, stopping by the announce booth to call some action with Cole & Wade Barrett. Corey Graves filled McAfee’s spot on Raw, which was originally his spot before McAfee arrived in the first place. WWE Raw will stream tonight at 8 PM on Netflix, 411 will have live coverage of the show as always.
