Possible Injuries Take Place During ROH Taping Before AEW Dynamite

A couple of potential injuries reportedly occurred during the ROH taping that took place before AEW Dynamite. PWInsider reports that Sammy Guevara was knocked out during a match against Serpentico at the taping, which took place before Dynamite aired. According to fans in attendance, Serpentico came off the top and was caught for a cutter, but the timing was “a little off” and Serpentico landed with Guevara’s face under him.

Guevara was knocked unconscious and the match stopped, with Serpentico being declared the winner. AEW’s medical team attended to Guevara and one person said it appeared as if they were doing a concussion protocol before Guevara was stretchered away.

PWInsider also reports that independent talent Kelly Madan was knocked out and may have suffered an injury at the taping in a match against Lady Frost. The match saw Madan take a spinning move off the ropes with Frost’s legs landing on her head or neck. The pinfall was counted and Madan didn’t move, being “obviously out.” The medical team, Frost and the referee surrounded Madan and the house lights were darkened. One fan in attendance said that Madan was taken out on a backboard after the ring ropes were loosened.
