Queen Aminata is working sore, noting in her latest vlog that she hurt her knee in the ring before last week’s AEW Collision taping. The AEW and ROH star posted her latest vlog on Wednesday, which covered last week’s taping of Collision. In the video, Aminata notes that she hurt her knee while she was in the ring after arriving for the taping.
“So I have to rush, but I can’t really run today,” Aminata said while she was backstage. “Because when I came in, I was rolling around the ring. And I hurt my knee a little.”
Later on in the video, she noted that by the time she got home, her knee was “super sore and swollen.” She did not give any further update on the status of her knee.
As of now, there’s no word if Aminata will have to miss any time due to the injury. She is not scheduled for Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream PPV. Her most recent match was on the September 20th Tailgate Brawl before All Out. She teamed with Harley Cameron, Mina Shirakawa, and Willow Nightingale against Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, Julia Hart & Skye Blue.
The pre-tape that Aminata mentioned for Collision saw her get attacked by Thekla, Hart, and Blue, better known as the Triangle of Madness. AEW taped that episode on October 9th.
