R-Truth and Joe Hendry stole the show during a comedic interlude at tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. During the event, broadcasters Stephanie McMahon and Joe Tessitore were rudely interrupted by none other than The Miz, railing against tonight’s show highlighting the Superstars of tomorrow, pointing out how he was the one who beat John Cena in the main event at WrestleMania 27.
However, The Miz was then interrupted by R-Truth, dressed up as “Ron Cena.” R-Truth accused The Miz of messing with Nick Aldis’ lottery ball machine for The Last Time Is Now Tournament, costing the opportunity for another wrestler, who R-Truth revealed was in the arena.
That wrestler was none other than Joe Hendry, who made is way out, with fans singing along to his entrance music, much to The Miz’s chagrin. The Miz demanded the music be cut off. However, he was then subjected to a beatdown at the hands of R-Truth and Joe Hendry.
Hendry and R-Truth then paid tribute to Cena, hitting Miz with dual-Five Knuckle Shuffle, or the “Ten Knuckle Shuffle,” as Michael Cole called it. R-Truth even counted a mock pin for Hendry on The Miz.
