Raquel Rodriguez Assaults Injured Stephanie Vaquer On WWE Raw

Stephanie Vaquer was defiant on Monday’s WWE Raw in the face of injury, but she ended up laid out from an assault by Raquel Rodriguez. Vaquer came out to address her injury status, wearing a walking boot stemming from her successful title defense on last week’s show.

The Women’s World Champion talked about her “amazing” 2025 and reflected on her accomplishments, including her reign as champion. She vowed that her injury wouldn’t stop her and thanked the WWE fans for believing in her, noting that she wants to face everyone.

As Vaquer held her title high after the promo, Rodriguez came into the ring from the crowd and attacked the champion from behind. She targeted Vaquer’s injured ankle and then hit a Tejana Bomb. Rodriguez left the ring and got a chair, wrapping it around Vaquer’s ankle. However, officials were able to hit the ring in time and stop her from Pillmanizing the ankle.

After the break, Vaquer was being helped backstage when Rodriguez attacked again. She stomped the ankle before Adam Pearce showed up and told Rodrigues to back off before she was fined into oblivion. He told officials to get Rodriguez out of the building as she backed away.

Rodriguez has challenged for the title twice, but had yet to take a one-on-one loss to Vaquer. Nikki Bella caused her first shot to end in DQ, while Bella took the pin in last week’s triple threat match.
