Reina Volcan Targets Kelani Jordan, Lays Her Out On WWE NXT

Reina Volcan has set her sights on the NXT Women’s Championship, attacking Kelani Jordan on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Volcan interrupted a promo by Jordan on Tuesday night’s episode to make her intentions known.

Jordan was out in the ring where she announced that she was planning to defend her title when a real challenger presents herself. She pointed out that Wren Sinclair is suspended, and there was no one who could realistically lay claim to a title shot. NXT General Manager Robert Stone came out to announce that a 20-woman battle royal will take place next week featuring talent from NXT, Raw, Smackdown, AAA, Evolve, and TNA, with the winner challenging Jordan at NXT Halloween Havoc.

As Jordan was processing that, Volcan came up from behind Jordan and knocked her down with a clothesline. She knocked Jordan down again, hit an elbow drop, and declared herself for the battle royal.
