Rhodes to the Top Reportedly Renewed for Second Season
– According to Dave Meltzer on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, the AEW reality show, Rhodes to the Top, has been renewed for a second season by TNT. The show debuted on the network in late September. The season finale for the initial six-episode season aired in October.
Details on Season 2 are not yet available. Also, TNT has not yet officially announced the show’s renewal. The unscripted series was ordered last March, going behind the scenes of AEW and the married life of Cody and Brandi Rhodes.
The first season averaged 360,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating in the P18-49 key demo. It drew 422,000 viewers a 0.17 rating for its debut episode. The season finale drew a 0.11 rating and 309,000 viewers.
The show is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Shed Media. Rhodes to the Top is executive produced by Dan Peirson and Lisa Shannon of Shed Media, Bernie Cahill and Jon Kanak of Activist Artists Management, and AEW CEO and GM Tony Khan.
