Rich Swann Officially Re-Signs With TNA Wrestling

As first reported by the Daily Star, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Rich Swann has officially re-signed with TNA Wrestling. TNA Wrestling also confirmed the news. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Speaking on the announcement, Swann told the Daily Star, “Ladies and gentlemen, your boy, Mr. All Night Long, Rich Swann, has re-signed with Total Nonstop Action, baby. Yes, indeedy.” He added, “I really believe in this company, and I feel great. We’re killing it every Thursday night on AMC and TNA+. I’ve been a part of TNA since 2018… and to have this freaking spot, it just feels awesome.”

Swann has been a part of TNA Wrestling (formerly Impact Wrestling) since 2018. Since that time, he’s become a TNA World Champion and an Impact World Champion. Swann has also held the X-Division and Digital Media titles during his Impact and TNA tenure.

Now, Swann looks ahead to TNA’s next pay-per-view event, Lockdown, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 23. Swann said to the Daily Star about the event, “I’d love to be in that cage. I’d love to be in Lockdown. I’d love to be in Lethal Lockdown. I’d love to be in any type of stipulation.”

TNA Lockdown takes place on Aug. 23 at the Credit Union 1 Arena in downtown Chicago. Every match will be inside a steel cage. Swann is also featured weekly on Thursday Night IMPACT!, which airs every week on AMC and AMC+ in the US, Sportsnet 360 in Canada, and TNA+ worldwide.
