Saraya Wants an Extreme Rules Showdown with Rhea Ripley

Saraya has named Rhea Ripley as her current dream opponent and stated that she wants their match to take place under Extreme Rules stipulations. In a recent interview with Poker Scout, she explained the reason.

Saraya left AEW in March 2025. Since then, fans have speculated whether she would return to WWE. The star herself fueled speculation when she announced she would resume training in January.

Speaking to Poker Scout, Saraya noted that during her time in WWE, the company had only begun expanding women’s stipulation matches. Events such as the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber were introduced for the women’s division near the end of her run, and she did not participate in those formats. Saraya said this absence is part of why an Extreme Rules match with Ripley interests her. She described the stipulation as an opportunity to work in a setting that leans into chaos and allows for a broader range of in-ring elements.

“It has to be Rhea Ripley. When I was in WWE, we had just started getting the ball rolling with the Divas Revolution. So the matches like the Elimination Chamber and the Royal Rumble and stuff like that was only just starting to happen. So I didn’t get the opportunity to do those, at least in WWE anyway. So I feel like it would be fitting for me and Rhea to do an Extreme Rules match or something like that. Something edgy for us!”

Her comments were made as Ripley continues preparing for the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, which will take place this weekend.
