Stephen Amell Thinks He’s Making a Cameo At WrestleMania 42

Stephen Amell could be making an appearance at WrestleMania, noting that he “thinks” he’s cameoing at the big PLE. Amell appeared on iHeartRadio CA and during his interview, he was asked about whether he’s been keeping up with wrestling. Amell noted that he is up to date with WWE and then dropped the little detail about his possible appearance.
“I’m not up to date with AEW,” Amell said. “I’m certainly up to date with WWE.”
When the host noted hat they’re on the road to WrestleMania, Amell replied, “We are on the road to WrestleMania. I think I’m going to make a cameo on night two at WrestleMania this year.”
Of note, it’s not entirely clear if Amell was joking as he had a bit of a coy smile on his face. He did not elaborate further on the matter.
Amell has previously appeared for WWE at in a feud leading to a tag team match at SummerSlam 2015. He teamed with Neville (aka PAC) to face Cody Rhodes as Stardust and Wade Barrett. Amell, a close friend of Rhodes’, has appeared for ROH and AEW. He also starred in the wrestling drama Heels which featured CM Punk and AJ Lee.
WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thus far only CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship has been confirmed.
