PWInsider has an update on the TNA Wrestling contract status of former World and International Champion Steve Maclin. According to the latest update, the word making the rounds backstage is that Maclin and TNA came to terms on an “extension” of his existing TNA deal.
The length of Maclin’s extension is currently unknown. The wrestler is also taking indie bookings through the month of April. As previously reported, it’s said that Maclin’s previous deal was going to expire at the end of 2025. Later December, it was rumored that Maclin and AJ Francis agreed to new “short-term” TNA contracts.
Steve Maclin last wrestled for TNA on the December 7, 2025 episode of IMPACT!, competing against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo for the TNA International Title. Maclin won the bout via disqualification, so the title did not change hands.
