Talents Released From WWE Are Free Of Non-Complete Clauses This Week
The wrestlers who were released from WWE back on April 15 will be free of their non-compete clauses this week (July 15). That means they will be free to work wherever they want. In theory, this would free them up to appear on Impact Wrestling Slammiversary on Saturday.
The list of talent includes Kurt Angle, Lio Rush, EC3, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Curt Hawkins, Eric Young, Aiden English, Heath Slater, Primo, Epico, Sarah Logan (who is pregnant and taking a hiatus from wrestling), Erick Rowan, Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, Zack Ryder, No Way Jose, Rusev (who has COVID-19) and referee Mike Chioda. There were also several producers released like Shane Helms, Billy Kidman, Dave Finlay and Mike Rotunda.
All the NXT talents that were released during that time have been available for some time, which is why Deonna Purrazzo was able to appear on Impact. Curtis Axel, who was released on April 30, may have to wait longer.
