Tatum Paxley Captures Women’s North American Title at WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2026

Tatum Paxley exacted revenge on her former friend, Izzi Dame, as she defeated the latter to claim the Women’s North American Championship at WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2026.

The match proved to be a back-and-forth affair, with both competitors bringing the fight to each other. The Culling tried its best to deny Paxley, but the latter was up to the task. The closing moments of the match saw Paxley powerbomb Dame to the floor from the apron and then throw her back in the ring.

Shawn Spears got in Paxley’s face, leading to a confrontation that nearly cost the challenger the match via countout. Paxley eventually made her way to the ring, only to be slammed by the defending champ for a near fall.

Dame went for a gutwrench, but Paxley countered it stunningly. Izzi shoved her to the ropes, where Spears was standing. Dame then charged at Paxley, but the latter ducked, leading to Izzi knocking out her stablemate. This gave Tatum Paxley the decisive opening as she hit the Cemetery Drive to secure a pinfall victory and the North American Title. She received a standing ovation from the crowd following her triumph.

Izzi Dame’s reign lasted 61 days. She won the championship by defeating Thea Hail in an impromptu match at New Year’s Evil two months ago. Check out the highlights of the match at NXT Vengeance Day 2026 via WWE’s X handle below:
