On the latest episode of Everybody’s Got a Pod, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase discussed teaming with a young Paul Orndorff in Mid-South Wrestling, their success, and more. You can check out some highlights below:
On teaming with Orndorff: “Paul was great, really good. I met Paul in Mid-South. I met him working for Bill Watts. And he was a real good guy, in a real good way.”
On him and Orndorff capturing the Mid-South Tag Team Titles and if he felt any resentment from others due to his quick rise: “I don’t think so. Most of those guys there…I think if there was going to be any talking in the dressing room, or whatever, it usually happens when somebody gets a position that the other guys look at and go, ‘Gosh, he’s not that good.’ I don’t know. I’ve never had anybody critique my work and say, ‘Kid, you got to change this, or you got to change that.’”
