Tessa Blanchard Says She Was Heartbroken When She Didn’t Get Signed By WWE

– During her interview with Busted Open Radio, Tessa Blanchard said she was “heartbroken” when she didn’t get signed by WWE after her 2014 tryout. Blanchard told the show hosts (per Sportskeeda that she was sure she was going to come on board, but now feels it was for the best that things played out the way they did.
“After my WWE tryout in 2014, I was like ‘alright, I’m getting signed. I’m going to be there. I’m ready, lets do this. It’s happening. Everything is happening right now,'” Blanchard said. “When it didn’t happen I was heart broken. I think it’s because God had a plan for me. If I would have gone and they would have signed me right away, I don’t think I would have had the life experiences or the experiences in wrestling.”
Blanchard has since competed for WWE as an enchancement talent in 2016, and then as part of the Mae Young Classic in 2017. She is currently working for Impact Wrestling.
