The Bella Twins Say Total Divas Return Has Been Discussed For Years

The Bella Twins say discussions about reviving Total Divas have continued behind the scenes for years. Both sisters sound open to returning if the series ever comes back.

The Bella Twins were part of the original Total Divas lineup when the show premiered and quickly became two of its central personalities. Their popularity on the series later led to the spinoff show Total Bellas, which focused more directly on their personal and professional lives. The original series also featured multiple WWE stars across its run and became closely tied to the rise of the company’s women’s division during the 2010s.

Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Nikki Bella explained that there has been ongoing interest in bringing the WWE reality show back in some form.

According to her, the original series played a major role in giving WWE’s women more visibility beyond weekly television storylines. Nikki also said the timing could make sense now, given the current level of attention to women’s wrestling across WWE programming (via Fightful).

“We’ve had conversations about it for years, about bringing it back. We’ve always pushed hard for that because it really helped the women, not only showcase what they can do in and out of the ring, but it gave our voices such a big platform. I feel like now, with what the women are doing, it’s a perfect time for it to be back, and to showcase what these women are doing, how they’re delivering, and I want to know what some of them are doing inside and outside of the ring. If they were to call, we are back right now, so it might be a yes.”

While no official revival has been announced, Nikki made it clear that The Bella Twins would be interested if WWE or network partners revisited the idea.
