The Rock Plays ‘These Are Four Separate Movies’ Viral Meme

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently played a game that’s become a viral meme as of late. In a clip that was posted on September 28 by NBC New York, The Rock tries to guess four separate movies from photos. However, they all look incredibly similar.

The Rock was joined by The Smashing Machine co-star Emily Blunt and filmmaker Benny Safdie for the interview. The photos are from his previous movies, Rampage, two of his Jumanji films, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. After initially being thrown off by Journey 2, The Rock gets all his movie roles right and humorously tears up the photo print.

The caption reads, “There’s no fooling The Rock — especially when it comes to his own movies. Dwayne Johnson was asked to identify the films he was in from the viral ‘These are 4 separate movies’ meme. He nailed it. #therock #dwaynejohnson #movies”

As previously reported, The actor is slated to start filming Jumanji 3 starting next month, with Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan also returning for the threequel. Brittany O’Grady also joins the cast, with Jake Kasdan returning to direct as well.

Jumanji 3 hits theaters on December 11, 2026. The Smashing Machine, starring The Rock, is out playing in theaters now.
