– This one will get people talking. The Undertaker has been announced to appear at Starrcast, which takes place during AEW Double Or Nothing weekend. The appearance was announced on Thursday via Sports Illustrated.com. It will make the first high-profile non-WWE appearance for the Dead Man, who recently raised speculation after he removed WWE branding from his social media accounts.

While some may take this as a sign Taker might be going to AEW, Conrad Thompson downplayed that possibility to SI. “I know people might assume this is an AEW event, but that is not true,” he said. “We have wrestlers appearing from every promotion from all over the world, and Starrcast isn’t just for All Elite Wrestling fans, it’s for all wrestling fans. The Undertaker is synonymous with wrestling and generations of wrestling fans have grown up with The Undertaker. We wanted to bring something unique to Las Vegas, and there isn’t anyone more special in this business than The Undertaker.”

He added, “The Undertaker experience is its own standalone experience at Starrcast. We are so proud to bring The Undertaker experience to fans this Memorial Day weekend at Starrcast II.”

Thompson said he expects a sell-out for the Undertaker appearance and noted that interested fans should acquire a platinum or gold bracelet this Friday at noon ET at Starrcast.com. Starrcast takes place on May 25 in Las Vegas.
