TNA News: Cage Match at January House Show, Bubba the Love Sponge Pops Up in Petraeus Scandal

– TNA has a house show set for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 5th, 2013. The man event will be Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode in a Steel Cage. Tickets are on sale next Friday.

– Bubba the Love Sponge’s name has, bizarrely, popped up in a peripheral way in the Pentagon sex scandal. Bubba’s name was mentioned in emails between socialite Jill Kelley (who complained of harassing emails from an anonymous woman who turned out to be David Petraeus’ biographer and mistress Paula Broadwell) and Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn. Kelly–who herself was romantically linked to General John R. Allen, the top commander in Afghanistan–was asked by top officers from MacDill Air Force Base to intercede when Bubba declared that he was going to “deep fat fry” the Koran earlier this year.
