Tony Khan Doesn’t Want To Take AEW Public, Hopes To Keep It a ‘Family Business’
February 7, 2025 | Posted by
Tony Khan has no desire to take AEW public, noting that he plans to keep it as a “family business.” The AEW president spoke with CNBC for an interview recently and was asked by Alex Sherman if he would potentially take the company public, an idea he wasn’t keen on.
“I don’t want to,” Khan said (h/t to Fightful). “I think we have a great family business. I’m still a relatively young executive. Someday, I’d like to have a family and hopefully they can work in the business. It’s a family business.”
AEW is currently building toward next weekend’s Grand Slam Australia show and AEW Revolution after that.
