Tony Khan Provides Update on Penelope Ford Amid Recent Injury

AEW President Tony Khan provided an unfortunate update on Penelope Ford’s status ahead of tonight’s episode of Collision.
Ford competed on the February 25, 2026, episode of Dynamite, teaming up with Megan Bayne to take on The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.
Penelope suffered an injury while performing a Moonsault on the outside. With her deemed unable to take any further part in the match, the bout ended in a disqualification after Lena Kross attacked The Babes of Wrath.
Khan took to social media to preview this week’s episode of Collision, during which he revealed that Penelope Ford “will be out with an injury maybe for weeks, but possibly even up to months.”

Tony noted that Ford was originally scheduled to team up with Megan Bayne and take on The Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) on tonight’s Collision. But given her unfortunate injury, she was replaced by Lena Kross. The duo emerged victorious following interference from Marina Shafir.
