Tony Schiavone Jokes About the ‘Attempted Murders’ at AEW All Out

– During a recent edition of What Happened When, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone playfully joked about the the recent AEW storyline between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. The storyline culminated in their violent unsanctioned match at AEW All Out 2024, where Hangman defeated Strickland.
Schiavone said on the pay-per-view event (via WrestlingInc.com), “Within the last year, I got to see a home invasion, someone burn someone’s house down. Why not see a couple attempted murders? First attempted murders I’ve ever seen.”
Schiavone is referencing Hangman Page burning down Strickland’s childhood home on a recent edition of AEW Dynamite. Hangman did it as payback for Swerve Strickland previously invading his home.
